అమ‌రావ‌తి: ఏపీ సీఎం జగన్ పై ప్రశంసలు గుప్పించారు ఉప రాష్ట్రపతి వెంకయ్యనాయుడు. ఏపీలో దిశ చట్టాన్ని తీసుకొచ్చినందుకు గర్వంగా ఉందన్నారు. శనివారం ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా ఆయన జగన్ ప్రభుత్వంపై ట్వీట్ చేశారు. ‘మహిళలపై జరుగుతున్న లైంగిక వేధింపులపై వేగంగా విచారణ జరపడానికి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ అసెంబ్లీ ఏకగ్రీవంగా ఏపీ దిశ బిల్లుకు ఆమోద ముద్ర వేసినందుకు హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నాను.
ఈ చట్టం సమర్థవంతంగా అమలైతే అత్యాచార బాధితులకు వెంటనే న్యాయం జరుగుతుంది. ప్రస్తుత పరిస్థితుల్లో ఇటువంటి చర్యలు అవసరం. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని నేను అభినందిస్తున్నాను’ అని ట్వీట్ చేశారు వెంకయ్య నాయుడు.
Happy to note that Andhra Pradesh Assembly has unanimously passed AP Disha Act to speed up investigations and trial of sexual offences against women. If implemented well, the Act can render timely justice to rape victims which is the need of hour. I compliment the AP Government.
