దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా ఎన్నికల నగారా మోగించేందుకు ఎన్నికల కమిషన్ సిద్ధమైంది. మార్చి 16 మధ్యాహ్నం 3 గంటలకు సీఈసీ ప్రెస్ మీట్ నిర్వహించనుంది. ఈ మీడియా సమావేశంలో లోక్ సభ ఎన్నికలతో పాటు ఐదు రాష్ట్రాల అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల షెడ్యూల్ ను విడుదల చేయనుంది. ఏపీ, ఒడిశా, అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్, సిక్కిం, అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించాలని ఈసీ భావిస్తోంది. వీటితో పాటు జమ్మూ కశ్మీర్ లో కూడా అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికలకు ఈసీ షెడ్యూ సిద్ధం చేస్తుంది.

ఎన్నికలు ఏప్రిల్, మే నెలలో జరగనున్నాయని ప్రచారం జరుగుతుంది. గతంలో 2019 ఎన్నికలు ఏప్రిల్, మే నెలలో నిర్వహించారు అధికారులు. ఇప్పుడు కూడా మునపటి విధానాన్నే ఫాలో అవుతారని రాజకీయ విశ్లేషకులు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు.
